Electrolysis
Electrolysis is the only medically approved procedure for hair removal that is recognized as both safe and permanent. Electrolysis can be performed safely on any part of the body, including the face, legs, bikini line, neck, back, chest and shoulders. As with all hair removal procedures, some clients experience a bit of discomfort during the procedure. However, care is taken to minimize any discomfort by our experienced electrologists, and results are proven to be permanent.
This claim cannot be made of other hair removal procedures such as laser hair removal. Our electrologists are licensed by the Maryland State Board of Nursing, and follow strict guidelines and rules for sanitation and sterilization.

Our Electrologists
Salon owner Nancy Willis is a licensed Electrologist and takes appointments as availability allows. Licensed since 1975, Nancy has served on the Board of Electrology under the Harry Hughes Administration from 1982 thru 1985. She currently sits on the committee of Electrolysis under the Maryland State Board of Nursing.
Elaine Friel has been a licensed Electrologist since 1983 and is a member of both the American Electrolysis Association and the Maryland Electrolysis Association. Elaine works closely with each client to help him or her achieve the desired goal in their hair reduction, and is pleased to offer evening hours to accommodate her clients.
